A Self-Made Art Residency on The Isles of Scilly
Focused creative time in one of my favourite places on earth
I’ve finally got round to making this video about my time on the Isles of Scilly in June, where I spent a week prioritising my art practice.
The video is a bit cringe for me as I had to script it to make sure the narrative made sense, I tried a few times to edit it without narration or improvise a narration but it didn’t really work. So you can definitely hear that in my voice and it’s a bit different from my usual informal one-take videos.
That said, it was pretty fun to make and I hope it’s interesting to watch. Enjoy :)

Excellent!! I love the idea of a self-made residency!
Loved hearing about the significance of the Scillies to you and your artist's journey Erica! And all the nostalgic old pictures!
