River Dart Preliminaries

This week in my sketchbook...

I can’t remember if I’ve mentioned this but I’ve been selected to take part in a project to make a print about the River Dart for a calendar.

I’ll do a fuller video one week to cover all about this project but I thought as a break from the Hatherleigh Festival sketchbook it would be nice to show you some of the preliminary sketches I’ve been doing in preparation for making a gel plate print for this project.

PS- I talk about featuring a stork in the print, but I actually mean a heron!
